Three recommends for late summer up, up vibes. No technical knockout here just straight forward feel good, a mix of tunes to fit any situation - Club Night, Headphones Beachside, Home or Road Tripping. All three tracks sit perfectly together in a playlist.

First up it’s Gimmie’ by 1 9 0 5 & Former City Records, classic electro beats + funk bass = Uprocking grooves to move you!

Next we have Methane Bubbles by the legend that is Jeff Mills, this track is taken from the excellent X-Ray Zulu - EP.

Last but not least we have Ha Ya! (Eternal Life) [Instrumental] by Musclecars, this track by the Brooklyn duo brings plenty of MAW vibes (Masters at Work) reminiscent of their Nuyorican Soul period, this is one of those tracks that is going to stand up for a long time to come. You could back this track up quite nicely with the excellent ‘The Nervous Track’ straight off of the Nuyorican Soul album. Be sure to check out Musclecars album Sugar Honey Iced Tea, top to bottom excellence!

Dig in, enjoy and let us know what you think.

A cross pollination of polyrhythmic musical creativity and heavenly arrangements from a trio of Jazz and Hip-Hop heavy hitters.

I recommend you listen to all three, in-part because there is a certain amount of cross over between these artists guesting on each others tracks and not least because they all have such a lot to offer by way of musical arrangements, incredible musicianship and, to be honest, pure next level vibes!
